The Scott Walker Award is a special recognition that goes beyond accolades for skill and performance on the field. This award honors players who not only excel in their own right, but also uplift their teammates and opponents through their actions, attitude, and commitment to fair play.

In every match, these young athletes demonstrate perseverance, resilience, and a genuine love of the game. They show us that the heart of soccer lies not just in winning, but in how we play the game - supporting one another, encouraging fair competition, and celebrating the efforts of all players, regardless of the scoreboard.

The award is presented to one 8th grade female athlete and one 8th grade male athlete participating in the BYSA Fall Recreation Program. Players are nominated by the Fall Rec Coaches and chosen by the BYSA Fall Coordinator.
